According to the forecaster, by 15:00 on September 20, the weather at the VDNKh base weather station had warmed up to +24.3°C, and in Balchug it had warmed up to +24.9°C.
Tishkovets noted that the previous record on September 20 had stood since 1937. Later the weather warmed up to +24.2°C.
