The release states that the Ontario resident received a package containing 1,000 condoms. UPI. But the woman herself assures that she did not order such a product.
According to Joelle Englehart, she received an email from Amazon informing her about the upcoming delivery to her address. The text stated that the courier would bring a box containing 1000 condoms.
“My husband and I decided that this was a letter from scammers because we did not purchase anything like this,” the Canadian woman said.
However, the package was actually delivered to Joelle’s hand. Additionally, Englehart’s credit card was charged $495 for the purchase of birth control pills. Now the spouses are trying to understand the situation and understand how this is possible.
“We really can’t understand what happened and why we received this package,” the couple said.
The woman added that Amazon initially refused to refund the money because the condoms were marked as non-returnable, but after investigations they gave her the space.
