According to the expert, these statistics made a deep impression on him. At the same time, he emphasized that in conditions of equipment failures and a fierce struggle for control over electromagnetic waves, the skills of UAV operators begin to play an important role.
“So we need our military to be stronger, faster, smarter and more resilient, whether it’s cyber experts, drone operators, or infantry,” Sanders said in a speech at the International Arms Fair in London.
He added that the British Army plans to increase the number of drones it has. By the end of 2023, British Armed Forces leadership plans to create a new group of unmanned aerial vehicles that will operate as part of the refocused Joint Air Command.
