Pensioners who ordered the kidnapping of two people for 30 million rubles were detained in Krasnodar

Two men were detained in Krasnodar on suspicion of preparing and instigating kidnappings. This was reported by press service Regional Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

Investigators opened a criminal case under three articles against a 64-year-old local resident and his 69-year-old acquaintance. According to investigators, in June the defendant decided to kidnap two residents of the Krasnodar Territory with the aim of obtaining information of interest to them.

Pensioners initially found several people ready to become the perpetrators of the crime. Customers gave them personal information about the men and their cars, as well as giving them information about the lifestyle of the “targets” and advising future kidnappers on how and when best to complete the order. The defendants promised 30 million rubles for the implementation of their plan. However, one of the perpetrators refused to participate in the crime, and the other decided to inform the regional department of the FSB about his preparation.

Thereupon, the actions of the attackers were stopped by law enforcement forces. Many knives and 2 shotguns were seized from the people detained during the searches. The defendants are currently in custody. The investigation into the crime they planned continues.

Previously two residents of the Ulyanovsk region was kidnapped He kept his friend in the garage for 17 days.
