It turned out that the UAV shot down in the Bryansk region was a Vector convertible drone produced by the German company Quantum Systems. This was reported by Telegram channel Puree.
In the message, it was clarified that “Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked Russia with a German UAV for the first time.”
According to the channel’s news, the Vector UAV was shot down in the Novozybkovsky district of the Bryansk region. Quantum Systems, headquartered in Gilching, manufactures drones using carbon fiber-reinforced material to make them resistant to adverse weather conditions.
The advantages of German drones include being noiseless and being able to broadcast video to the operator in HD format. Vector can also transform into a light version of Scorpion in a few seconds.
A military observer at the end of August “socialbites.ca” Mikhail Khodarenok explained how unmanned aerial vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine flew to Pskov and what to expect next from Kiev.
