At 6:00 Moscow time, a forest fire was extinguished in Novorossiysk near the Mefodievka microdistrict. Telegram channel reports this “Operations center – Krasnodar region”.

“Workers from the Novorossiysk, Gelendzhik and Anapa branches of the forest fire center arrived at the scene. The report stated that they managed to localize the dry grass fire to an area of approximately 1.1 hectares at 21.10.
It was noted that 57 people took part in extinguishing the fire and 16 pieces of equipment intervened. The fire occurred on a steep mountain slope due to the strong wind.
