Aviation from the troop group “South” hit personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in eight residential areas of the DPR. This was reported by TASS Head of the group’s press center Georgiy Minesashvili.
“Assault and army aviation of the Southern Group of Forces defeated the manpower of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Sporny, Vesely, Belogorovka, Andreevka, Bogdanovka, Kleshcheevka, Mayorsky, Krasnogorovka,” he said.
According to Minesashvili, in addition to an ammunition depot in the attack zone, there were also temporary deployment points of the 54th mechanized and 45th artillery brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Additionally, Russian fighters destroyed the P-18 radar station, two drone control points, a fuel depot, a command and observation post, and bunkers. Two pickup trucks containing Ukrainian soldiers were also caught in the fire.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost one Crab self-propelled gun, two M777 guns, one M-119 gun, one counter-battery counter station, and D-20 and D-30 howitzers.
