Poland signed a framework contract with the European Defense Agency (EDA) for the purchase of 155 mm shells. This has been reported RMF 24.
In this case, it is stated that we are talking about the joint purchase of ammunition for Ukraine, as well as the replenishment of their own stocks by the EU countries.
At the moment there are no details on what kind of shells will be purchased, but it is emphasized that the signing of the documents means that EU states can place special orders for Polish factories.
Wiesław Kukula, commander of the Polish Territorial Defense Forces, before that declarationHe said that Warsaw plans to invest in unmanned technology and develop its own UAVs based on observations of the conflict in Ukraine.
Kukula said Warsaw will “invest significantly” in UAV production, with the priority being to create its own drones.
He stressed that Poland plans to neutralize Russia’s “unlimited possibilities” in terms of manpower and equipment with the help of unmanned technologies.
