According to the organizing committee of the award, organized by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, applications for the IX All-Russian “For Fidelity to Science” Award can be submitted until September 12. The names of the winners will be announced in October. The winners will receive a monetary prize and special prizes from the partners of the competition – a trip to a nuclear-powered icebreaker, a trip to one of the Russian spaceports, as well as a trip to the engineering center of the Irkut company.
Additionally, the winners of all nominations will be presented with the III. He will be able to attend the Young Scientists Congress. in Sochi.
The Science Commitment Award recognizes excellence in science communication. The award became one of the flagship projects of the Decade of Science and Technology announced by the President of Russia in 2022.
The organizing committee notes that the award develops every year, with the addition of nominees, the participation of new partners, the increase in the number of applications, which indicates an increased interest in science and education among a wide audience.
This year, there are 14 nominations for the award.
Participants can be journalists covering the topic of Russian science, popularizers of science, scientists and business representatives who make significant contributions to promoting the prestige of professional scientific activity and popularizing domestic scientific achievements.
The finalists will be determined by an expert council consisting of journalists, scientists, government officials, private foundations, companies, non-profit organizations, university press services and representatives of research institutes. The Organizing Committee will decide who will receive awards and diplomas.
