Russians say summer 2023 is overthrowing their regime

According to a study by online health management service Budu and travel planning service OneTwoTrip, a third of Russians needed 15 to 20 days in summer to feel rested. Another quarter is enough for 8 to 10 days. “socialbites.ca” got acquainted with the results of the study.

52% went on vacation due to too much work causing severe fatigue. For 17%, vacation has become an opportunity to meet up with family and friends. And every tenth was busy with work for which there was no time. Including your health.

The most exhausting factors of routine life include: High levels of stress and burnout from work or home life and lack of new experiences (52%), the need to solve various household problems (30%), inability to spare time for yourself and hobbies (28%), and work anxiety. (24%).

During the summer months, more than a third (35%) of Russians rested by the sea or ocean to cope with fatigue and stress. One in ten participants visited tourist attractions, capitals and historical places full of big cities of different countries, mountains, exotic countries and islands.

Although 9% of respondents indicated that they could take a vacation to take care of their health (physical and mental), only 5% actually did so this summer. 3% of respondents prefer to go to sanatoriums with medical procedures for relaxation. At the same time, the presence of spa and massage rooms in the hotel is important for one-third of the respondents, while the presence of a gym is important for 5%.

Almost half (45%) of respondents admitted that they allow themselves more “harmful things” during the holidays and are free to choose their meals. 29% of Russians say they lost their daily routine on vacation. The other 9% said they have become lazy.

For 52% of Russians, vacation helped relieve mental fatigue caused by work and housework. The other 28% were able to relax not only mentally but also physically. About 10% of those surveyed did not fully transition from routine tasks, but the vacation helped them feel better overall.

For Russians, the best way to relax physically and mentally on vacation was to visit new places on vacation: this option was noted by 63% of respondents. 50 percent of Russians were able to relax by resting and swimming by the water, and 34 percent were able to relax by spending time in the sun.
