Employees of the Baykalsky Bor children’s camp, where children fell ill en masse at the end of August, issued false medical examination certificates. In this respect informs Press service of the Rospotrebnadzor department of the region.

The Baykalsky Bor children’s camp was closed for 90 days after 29 cases of norovirus infection in children. Rospotrebnadzor revealed gross violations of sanitary and epidemiological requirements.

“The facts of forgery of documents on the passage of periodic medical examination and the passage of occupational hygiene training and certification of catering workers have been established,” the press service of the Ministry said.

When the outbreak in the camp became known, the authorities did not isolate the infected children. The catering unit and staff continued to operate as usual.
