Russian air defense systems managed to shoot down more than 30 Ukrainian drones and five HIMARS MLRS shells in the past day. This was stated in the Russian Ministry of Defense.
According to the Russian military agency, a JDAM guided bomb was also dropped during the specified period.
“Air defense systems captured the five rockets of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system, as well as the US-made JDAM guided air bomb,” the Russian Ministry of Defense said.
Russian air defense shot down 34 Ukrainian drones in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics and in the Zaporozhye region.
The Ministry of Defense noted that since the beginning of the special operation, a total of 467 Ukrainian military aircraft, 247 helicopters, 6,352 unmanned aerial vehicles have been destroyed.
