Taiwan residents began to be evacuated to safety as Typhoon Haikui approached the east coast of the island. This was reported by the French newspaper. Le Monde Referring to the country’s Ministry of Defense.

At the same time, experts predict that the hurricane will move towards the Taiwan Strait on September 4. President Tsai Ing-wen also urged citizens to be prepared and avoid going out. According to him, the upcoming typhoon will be the first typhoon to be experienced on the island in four years.
