Tens of thousands of attendees to the Burning Man festival were denied access to the desert in Nevada due to heavy rains. This has been reported CNN.

It was recorded that the heavy rain, which started on Friday, September 1 in Black Rock City, continued until Saturday morning, September 2. It is expected to restart soon. In addition, the temperature in the desert dropped significantly – up to 9 degrees Celsius.

Rain washed the roads in Black Rock City as well as the city’s airport entrances. Festival organizers advised visitors to save on food, water and fuel due to the emergency.

The Burning Man Music and Arts Festival is traditionally held annually in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada (USA). Festival participants create art objects and unusual tools in the desert, participate in local events, and the objects are burned at the end of the festival.
