The court session on the selection of a restraining measure for Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, suspected of fraud and legalization of property, will take place on Saturday evening. This is reported by the Ukrainian edition “Strana.ua”, with reference to the sources.
According to the newspaper, the meeting will be held in the Shevchenko court. It is stated that Kolomoisky is suspected. The prosecution will demand that the court detain him with the option to pay bail of up to 600 million hryvnia ($16,000).
In the fall of 2022, employees of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine conducted searches near Kolomoisky in connection with the misappropriation of the property of the Ukrnafta company. Previously, it was reported in the local press that the businessman was deprived of Ukrainian citizenship, but there was no official confirmation about this.
