Unmanned aerial vehicles used by the enemy to attack Russian territory, including Moscow, can be launched not from Ukraine, but from some regions of the Russian Federation. Such an assumption in the broadcast “Radio 1” made Sergey Goncharov, honorary head of the association of veterans of the anti-terrorism unit “Alpha”.

“Someone said that he flew from Ukraine, but I have deep doubt that these drones can fly 1.5-2 thousand kilometers from Moscow and hit the city of Moscow. I assume that this is still Ukraine’s major agency SBU, located in the Moscow region or nearby areas, ”said Goncharov.

According to the veteran, the purpose of these attacks is to create panic and scare the public, as the Ukrainian drones do not cause great material losses.

Seven regions of Russia on the night of August 30 was attacked drones. Il-76 aircraft caught fire at the Pskov airport, and the roof of the Investigative Committee building in Bryansk was damaged. The Kremlin stated that the experts were investigating the routes of the drones, while the Russian Foreign Ministry described the attacks as “terrorist attacks”.

Previously in Ankara showed new Bayraktar UAVs.
