A global court in Moscow fined TikTok 2 million rubles for posting four videos showing LGBT relationships. It has been reported TASS.

The company was found guilty under Part 2 of Art. 13.41 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.

According to the materials of the case, the reason for the administrative lawsuit was that four videos of men kissing were posted on TikTok. These materials were discovered by employees of Roskomnadzor. They concluded that the published videos could create a positive attitude towards same-sex relationships among young people.

TikTok did not delete these videos where the administrative crime report was issued. At the same time, the TikTok representative also asked the court to dismiss the case, considering the crime to be insignificant.
