The businessman was kidnapped on Alekseeva Street in Krasnoyarsk on July 19, 2017. Four masked assailants attacked the man and, at gunpoint, put him in a Toyota Camry with a bag over his head.
As it was later learned, the kidnappers took the businessman to the garage, where they demanded that he leave his property and hand over all his property to them. They took the phone and 170 thousand rubles from the victim and agreed to transfer another 10 million rubles when he was kidnapped. Within days, the attackers took the man to a deserted area and released him.
“Despite ongoing search efforts, the perpetrators have not been identified so far,” law enforcement said.
Police reported traces of the wanted persons, their car and the garage where they illegally held the victim, and urged anyone with knowledge of the suspects’ whereabouts to contact interior officials.
