The biggest negativity among Russians comes from bloggers who advertise policies and rates

Bloggers who do not live a luxurious life (33%) and do not discuss politics (14%) trust Russians the most. This is demonstrated by a study by influencer marketing expert, opinion-leading producer Anton Petukhov and the Dela PR communications agency, the results of which were reviewed by socialbites.ca.

In addition, writers who are experts in their niche (28%), openly expressing their views (15%), and showing their personal lives (13%) trust Russians. The main trust factors for young people were the author’s expertise (69%) and the person’s clear presentation of their position (54%).

In the age group 26-55 years and above, users more frequently report fewer bloggers (25% and 38%, respectively), people stop following popular blogs (21% vs 17%), and unsubscribe authors who quit. country (17% vs. 11%). At the same time, respondents report an improvement in content quality (18% vs. 11%). While 16% of respondents aged 26-55 would like to work as bloggers, representatives of the older generation do not consider this possibility. Young people under 25 are more interested in the blogosphere: they are interested in niche specialist blogs (38%) and do not unsubscribe from leaving authors, and one in six are ready to start their own blog.

Also over the past year, the blogosphere has faced a crisis of trust. Respondents aged 26-55 and over 56 said they did not trust bloggers (29% and 43%, respectively). At the same time, many believe that the authors undermine their credibility (15% vs. 26%). The reasons were advertising politics, rates, making easy money (36% and 44%), not helping people and society (31% and 51%), and imposing their own opinion on the audience (27% and 45%). Non-payment of taxes (25% vs 40%), arguing with other people (24% vs 30%), and details of personal life (14% vs 32%) were also at the top. Politics, interest, easy money advertisements (92%) and imposing their own opinion on the audience (85%) cause the greatest negative effects among young people under the age of 25.

As a result of the study, experts learned how Russians of different ages imagine the image of a blogger. Thus, 27% of Russians in the 25-55 age group believe that bloggers are experts in their field, and for one in five people, this is an uneducated person wasting their time. The stereotype that a blogger is a successful person who makes easy money and flaunts his personal life for money persists (13% each).

Representatives of the older generation formed a rather negative image about the blogger. Thus, people over 55 believe that bloggers make money by showing their personal lives (30%), have no education (26%) and make easy money (19%). At the same time, nearly a third (28%) stated that blogs are run by experts in their field.

For young people under 25, the blogger is an easy money earner (62%), an expert in the field (54%), and the same audience (39%).
