The Russian cargo ship Progress MS-22 has left the Zvezda module and has departed the International Space Station (ISS). It has been reported telegraph channel State Corporation “Roscosmos”.
“Progress MS-22″ sailed from the ISS,” says the publication.
According to Roskosmos, the ship worked at the station for more than six months.
The report states that in a matter of hours, the engine will turn on to brake Progress MS-22 to exit orbit, enter Earth’s atmosphere, and collapse. The publication says that unburned parts of the structure will fall into the unnavigable zone of the South Pacific.
“The new Progress MS-24 spacecraft will take its place on the ISS,” the press service said.
Its launch is scheduled for August 23.
Prior to this, Roscosmos was the Progress MS-22. taken away ISS without colliding with space debris.
