The festival’s dance program was chaired by Russian dancer, choreographer and musical artist Ilshat Shabaev.

Poets from Orel and Oryol regions presented Russian literature at the festival. Antonina Sytnikova, Larisa Panina, Andrey Shendakov read their poems to the public.

Also, for the guests of the festival, an interactive booth of the “People’s Front” worked, everyone could record video messages in support of the Russian army.

“There is nothing that unites people more than an idea,” said Andrey Klychkov, Governor of the Oryol Region, who attended the event.

“This festival united many cities and people with the main idea, “For Russia”. I am happy that in addition to such events, we are also carrying out daily work to deliver humanitarian aid materials to the front line in the Oryol region. “We are gathered here today not only for the holiday, but also to show our attitude towards the country, the men who are fighting,” he said.

The festival, which started at the beginning of August, will end on September 8 and will host a total of 26 cities, from Anadyr to Smolensk.

Project “Russian Summer. ZaRussia” is implemented with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, the “People’s Front” popular movement and the Public Chamber of Russia.
