Three familiar Moscow residents arranged fictitious marriages with foreigners, helping them obtain temporary residence permits (TRPs). In this respect informs Telegraph channel “Attention, Moscow”.
As is known, two Moscow natives and one Yerevan native were engaged in illegal business, receiving wages for helping to legalize foreigners in the Russian Federation.
The women decided to have fictitious marriages with visitors in 2018. They relied on the law, in which the authorities grant temporary residence permits in Russia to those who are married to a citizen of the country.
According to the source, Russian women bought fake marriage certificates from other countries, translated them into Russian and registered them at Moscow registry offices.
Law enforcement has already detained accomplices, and during the search they found a fake seal of the Ukrainian embassy in Russia. With his help, the police found out that their friend had married a Moscow citizen of Ukraine.
Women became defendants in a criminal case on organizing the illegal stay of foreign citizens in the Russian Federation. They are now free on bail.
Police raided the county earlier. clarified 84 illegal immigrants will be deported from the country.
