A person dead and another injured after a small plane crashes this Thursday Against a hangar near the city of Fort Pierce in southeast Florida, according to local media reports. The Piper PA-28-161 type aircraft with two people on board crashed in a hangar on a highway in this town this afternoon for reasons as yet unknown. One of the passengers died at the scene and the other was taken to a local hospital, receiving WPTV channel 5 from West Palm Beach.
The plane’s departure and destination are currently unknown, but the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is currently investigating the plane crash.
Earlier this month, two people were killed and one seriously injured when another small aircraft, the Cessna, crashed during takeoff. This accident occurred at the North Perry airport facilities in the town of Pembroke Pines, north of Miami. And four people, two men and two women, who traveled from Indiana to Florida last April, were killed in a plane crash in the waters off the Florida coast of the Gulf of Mexico.
