On August 17, in the Zaporozhye district of the city of Berdyansk, the All-Russian Youth Education Forum of Rosmolodezh “South of Youth” was opened. The platform of events took place, the press service of Rosmolodezh reported.

It was noted that 500 activists, heads of professional societies and public organizations, experts working with youth from the LPR, DPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, as well as representatives of youth communities and NGOs implementing projects in the new regions of Russia came together. participants in the forum.
Denis Ashirov, Vice President of Rosmolodezh, said that in 2023, residents of the new regions of Russia submitted 170 applications to the Rosmolodezh.Grants competition, of which 37 projects with a total value of 20 million rubles were the winners. At the same time, DPR became one of the leaders in the number of applications for the grant competition – 121 applications.
“The theme is completely different. These are volunteer projects, patriotic projects, or even projects aimed at the IT aspect. It talks about the different interests of young people,” he said.
Forum participants are expected to receive training on educational and interactive sessions in 7 areas, voluntary and creative initiatives, youth entrepreneurship, the role of new media, issues of supporting teachers and staff expectations for young people. Participants will also analyze how culture and tourism are developing in four new regions of Russia.
They will also jointly develop the concept of the Mayak training center, which will be built on the coast of the Azov Sea in the Zaporozhye region. The complex will open sites in the fields of modern technology, media and security. Mayak will be part of the Rosmolodezh ecosystem.
