For the first time since 2014, the occupancy level of the reservoirs in Istanbul decreased to low levels. It has been reported NTV.

According to experts, if the current situation continues, the city will have enough supplies for 91 days. However, as 25% evaporates, this figure will decrease to 61 days.

The water reserves in six of the ten reservoirs in Istanbul fell below normal by 20%. The minimum liquid level was recorded at Pabuçdere dam, where 4.47% of the reserves are located. In total, the occupancy level of the reservoirs is 33.37%. This is the lowest figure since 2014. Then there was 28.9%. The maximum figures were reached in 2015, when the water level was 95%.

City officials urged citizens to conserve water, as weather forecasters do not forecast precipitation for the next ten days. The air temperature at this time will be between 30 and 32 degrees.
