The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, announced on Telegram that he had a meeting with the Commander-in-Chief of NATO Allied Forces in Europe, Christopher Cavoli. In it, the parties discussed the increase in the production of drones.
Zaluzhny said that the needs of the military units were also discussed. In particular, weapons, ammunition, air defense systems, electronic warfare (EW), as well as remote mine clearance devices.
“Another extremely important issue is unmanned aerial vehicles. Countering (Russian) drones and improving our own capabilities. We agreed with our partners to focus on work in this area,” the statement said.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the main topic of the meeting was to discuss cooperation in the military field. He said he was reporting on the situation at the front and the course of offensive and defensive operations.
