According to Vyacheslav Timofeev, IT director of the VTS ERA developer company, the project was created on the basis of a real military simulator for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operators.
“Students do different tasks. It’s either a race against the clock on the track, or take the anti-tank concrete “dragon’s teeth” and put them back in place so the Leopard tank won’t go through the track. Whoever’s team does it faster wins. For victory, the player gets points and can use them to customize his drone: for example, put a more powerful engine or paint it, ”said Timofeev.
He added that the game completely repeats the interface of the drone with speed, altitude, stabilization and battery consumption. According to him, real UAV control panels are used as joysticks. A maximum of 10 people can participate in a game session.
