The Russian woman met one of the scammers on social networks. An unknown person said that he allegedly worked as a dentist and simultaneously invested in cryptocurrency. She offered to try and her interlocutor.
Also, experts contacted the woman and suggested registering on a special platform. At first, the doctor really earned income, so on the advice of specialists he decided to invest large sums.
As a result, the victim received a loan in the amount of 1.6 million rubles. He transferred a total of 3,460,000 rubles to the scammers.
A judicial investigation has been initiated regarding the incident. Law enforcement is investigating.
