About three quarters of Ukrainian veterans fear that the state will forget about them after hostilities are over. Such data are published by the Ukrainian edition of UNIAN, with reference to a survey by Gradus Research.

“Almost three-quarters (72%) of Ukrainian veterans fear that the state will forget about them,” the publication explained.

More than half of veterans (55% of respondents) fear that they will not be able to find a job after returning from the front. 49% of respondents are confident that they will not be able to adapt to civilian life.

More than a third of the soldiers (35% of the soldiers) admitted that their injuries may have caused a negative attitude towards them by others.
