Villagers south of Cairo show signs of unknown disease

Egypt’s Ministry of Health said that a group of residents of the village of El-Aliqa in Qena province, south of Cairo, showed signs of an unknown disease. This has been reported agency website.

The department noted that teams of experts in providing preventive and medical care were sent to the area to examine complaints, and patients were already being tested.

The publication added that none of the cases required hospitalization. About 50 cars were sent to the settlement with experts, local drinking water samples were taken.

It was recorded that between 200 and a thousand villagers complained of symptoms of an unknown disease.
