On the morning of August 10, the Meshchansky Court in Moscow will consider an administrative protocol against blogger and journalist Ilya Varlamov (known in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent) for publishing material without flagging a foreign agent, reports TASS.
Evaluation of the protocol on Varlamov is scheduled for 11:00 Moscow time. It can be fined from 30,000 to 50,000 rubles.
The court did not specify which of the blogger’s posts led to the drafting of the protocol.
Previously reportedThat Ilya Varlamov was fined for posting without flagging a foreign agent.
At the end of March this year, the Ministry of Justice registered Varlamov in the register of foreign agents.
In early June, the Moscow Zamoskvoretsky Court refused in the removal of the status of foreign agent to Ilya Varlamov, as well as to artists Semyon Slepakov (recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent) and Maxim Galkin (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation).
