The head of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Sergei Shoigu, visited the forward command post of one of the formations of the Western forces group in the military operation zone.

The ministry noted that the minister had instructed the group’s leadership to conduct active reconnaissance.
“It is determined as a task to continue active reconnaissance activities in order to reveal the plans of the enemy in advance and prevent their implementation at long distances to the line of contact,” the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
