The head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, predicted dramatic changes in his country’s conflict with the Russian Federation, which, according to him, could occur this year. He made the related statement in an interview with Fox.
“I think this year will radically change the situation,” said the minister.
But to the question of the TV presenter how long the conflict will last, he did not give a clear answer.
Reznikov also commented on the data on the counterattack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). He stressed that this was a “preparatory operation”.
He added that Kiev has the understanding that Russian troops have “very strong lines of defense, especially minefields”.
