The 5th festival of the Russian series Pilot, held from 22-25 June, ended in Ivanovo. The organizers of the show announced the winners of 2023 at the closing ceremony.
The pilot of the comedy series “Mammoths” starring Yuri Stoyanov took the first place in the audience vote. The same project received the Press Choice award established by Kinopoisk.
According to the jury, the best drama of the festival was Cerberus, the costumed crime film directed by Vladimir Shchegolkov.
Maxim Stoyanov, who starred in the detective film Black Sun, was named best actor in Pilot, and Yevgenia Borzykh (crime thriller Kill Rita) was named best actress. In the category of Best Ensemble, the comedy starring Marina Alexandrova, Kuzma Saprykin, Olga Medynich, Mikhail Trukhin and Alexander Robak was awarded the Macron award.
The Best Director award went to Dmitry Tyurin, who directed the pilot episode of the detective thriller The Burning Tour, in which he co-starred with Alexander Robak and Timofey Tribuntsev. The latter also received a special jury award.
The award for the best screenplay was awarded to the drama “I Will Call” (director and screenwriter was Alexei Ivanov, who previously worked on the TV series “Fizruk” and “Peace! Friendship! Gum!”).
The comedy project The Third in Bed, in which Boris Khlebnikov played with Anna Mikhalkova, Alexander Robak and Lyubov Aksenova, was named the most anticipated series.
