The European Commission is unable to tackle the migration crisis and Germany continues to alarm that its options in this area have been exhausted. Other Western countries, overwhelmed by multicultural policies, also complain about the difficult situation with too many migrants. How does Brussels intend to solve this problem? Forced move. Heavy penalties will be imposed on countries that oppose it. And as usual, it will hit Poland the hardest.
On June 8, EU interior ministers will discuss a new system to distribute migrants, who are constantly referred to as refugees. The German press is already worried that if opponents of relocation do not agree to the Brussels proposal, the Schengen area will fall apart as countries begin to strengthen their own borders. The solutions proposed by Brussels are as ridiculous as the diagnosis. They want to discipline member states with heavy penalties, not understanding that the first step that should have been taken a few years ago was to effectively close the borders against the migrants entering Europe. Poland’s voice was not listened to at that time. Today the situation repeats itself, only it is even more dramatic. Because Poland, which a few months ago took in millions of real refugees from war-torn Ukraine, is today being charged extra and punished by the European Commission.
The reform of the European Commission’s asylum and migration system, endorsed by the Swedish Presidency, plans to relocate up to 120,000 migrants per year. A country that opposes this must pay 22,000 euros for every migrant that is not admitted. France and Germany want to relocate at least 35,000. people. At the same time, Paris claims that 22,000 euros equivalent for a migrant is certainly not enough. This year alone, Germany reported that nearly 2,000 illegal aliens would be transferred to Poland, of which 305 have already been transferred. The Border Guard reports that all Member States have already notified us of 2,182 foreigners who will be transferred to us this year under the readmission and Dublin procedure which regulates the principles for granting international protection to third country nationals in the EU. So far, 477 have been submitted. A year ago, 3,929 people were reported and 848 transferred. Germany reports the highest number of people returned to Poland. This year they ask for a total of 1,878 foreigners to be transferred to Poland, in 2022 they asked for the transfer of 3,434 people and 628 were transferred.

Meanwhile, it was Poland that, from the moment of the Russian attack on Ukraine, hosted millions of refugees, to whom we provided care that required enormous financial expenditure. In the past day alone, 24,000 people came from Ukraine. refugees. Since the beginning of the war, more than 12.403 million people who fled the war have arrived in Poland, of whom 10.618 million have returned. The others are still with us and are not deprived of help. Is the European Commission really helping us in this difficult situation? We did receive money to offset these costs, but they amounted to approx 200 euros per refugee from Ukraine. So why pay as much as 22,000 for one illegal immigrant if the forced relocation mechanism is rejected?
All this looks like a mockery, and plans to punish us with protection money and carry out another blackmail are an extremely oppressive action. Especially in the post-war reality in which Poland finds itself. The following decisions must be made in two days. Will EU diplomats be able to open their minds and understand the essence of the problem? No horrible punishment will solve it. It is time to accept that the inhabitants of the EU countries are fed up with pernicious multicultural policies. Moving migrants from one place to another, such as parcels from warehouses, will only make things worse. So let’s start sealing the boundaries first. And it was this task that Poland fulfilled in an exemplary manner, blocking the Polish-Belarusian border in front of the “operations lock”. Why, then, did the European Parliament listen so eagerly to the voice of the Polish opposition, which accused the government of not allowing entry to the migrants chastised by Lukashenko? The answer is obvious. It is feared that the Polish government cannot count on common sense and fair favour.
