The State Border Service of Ukraine reported that up to 150 people a day are not allowed to travel abroad. About this writes the publication “Strana.ua”.
The ministry added that about 20,000 more people were detained while trying to cross the border illegally.
It was noted that some men forged their wives’ death certificates because single parents were able to cross the border.
“They are also forging documents about their children – trying to provide evidence for allegedly having three children under the age of 18. Or documents from the military registration and enlistment offices on their eligibility for military service, ”explained the State Border Service.

The publication states that about 11% of men of military age leave the Shlyakh system. The State Border Service noted that they would take a more comprehensive approach to “creating the legal basis for crossing the state border by persons involved in the Shlyakh system.”
