Regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said that more than 4,000 residents living in border settlements of the Belgorod region are currently in temporary accommodation centers. It has been reported telegraph channel regional heads.
“Today we have more than 4,000 people in temporary shelters. All necessary assistance is being provided,” he said.
The governor of Belgorod also thanked the residents who brought the necessary materials to the local Center for Youth Initiatives.
Last night, Shebekinsky District and Volokonovsky District were bombed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“A lot of damage. There is no information about the victims,” the politician said.
Gladkov also called on those living in settlements bombed by the Ukrainian army to take into account the information given by the authorities and to leave their homes for a while.
