Minors and Family Operations Unit (UMEFA), of the Canary Islands Police Service (CGPC), in coordination with the Minor Prosecutor’s Office, allegedly committing a crime against a group of three children sexual assault a child under the age of 13 committed on a beach south of Tenerife, close to the nightlife area.
According to police sources, there are clear indications that sexual assault was committed against the 13-year-old victim. The facts were brought to the attention of agents after the minor’s father filed a complaint last March.
The group sexual assault occurred on a beach in the south of Tenerife in the early morning. Intoxicated or under the influence of certain drugs, the victim could be taken there to be sexually assaulted by this group of young people aged 15 to 17. Agents have already arrested the teens who are being investigated to clarify their relationship with each other as well as their role in the sexual assault in question.
Investigators had sufficient evidence to circumscribe the version given by the minor victim, such as eyewitness testimonies or conversations with one of the attackers after being attacked. It is even thought that the events were recorded by one of the attackers, which has not been confirmed so far.
