Users of the RedProjects Discord server have decrypted the files of an old version of the game STALKER 2 and posted instructions on how to launch the game. In this respect informs Publicly available in the VK “Same Stalker” Bulletin (VTSS).
The game’s build was released online on May 30, 2023. However, since the leaked files were encrypted by the developers of GSC Game World, enthusiasts were not able to launch it right away. Later, RedProjects users found the right key among the leaked material and with its help got the STALKER 2 build up and running. Screenshots and gameplay videos from him have already begun to be reproduced on social networks and Telegram.
VTSS writes that you can run an early version of the game by placing the decrypted files in the WindowsStalker2BinariesWin64 directory. Also, the authors of the public warned that the game may take a long time to download, so you should not close the game quickly.
