Svintsov stressed, however, that such restrictions are not currently being developed in the lower house of parliament.

“If such decisions are taken, it is not difficult to prevent the exit of the citizens. There are passport numbers, all personal data of a citizen is there and, of course, it will be strictly forbidden to leave, ”explained Svintsov.

According to him, in this case, notifications will be sent to the FSB and the border service that the citizen is prohibited from leaving the Russian Federation. The official noted that the impact of such restrictions would be similar to those currently established in the case of outstanding debts.
