Archaeologists discovered about 20 tombs containing artifacts from the 2nd millennium BC at the construction site of the Zhemchuzhina microdistrict in Belgorod. TASS.

“Excavations of the cultural heritage object “Belgorod-1, an earthen cemetery” identified within the city of Belgorod have been completed, the Regional Department of Cultural Heritage Preservation said in a statement.

Local archaeologists examined a total of 20 burials.

Clay pots were found as burial gifts in all burials, including copper earrings and wire copper bracelets.
