Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan said that the country’s security council is considering withdrawing from the CSTO in 2022. TASS.

“Apparently this was discussed at a meeting of the Security Council, I think it was discussed in September 2022. It was decided not to take this step, but to stay in the organization. At the moment, there is no question of withdrawing from the CSTO, the rest will be discussed on a case-by-case basis,” he said.

He added that Armenia hopes to obtain positive results from the meeting on observers from the CSTO, which is proposed to be placed on the Azerbaijani border.
