At least 2.5 thousand people in the Kurgan region received payments as victims of forest fires. In this respect TASS said the regional governor Vadim Shumkov.
“All victims receive 10,000 rubles when they reside,” said the head of the district.
Consequently, the settlements of Uldus, Logoushka and Smolino in the region were damaged by the elements.
May 7 in the Kurgan region introduced state of emergency due to forest fires. It was learned that on May 12, a yellow fire hazard level was introduced in the Kurgan region. Kurgan region officials stress that the situation regarding forest fires in the region remains serious. In municipalities, they prepared equipment in case of evacuation of residents and temporary shelters, accelerated patrols in districts and cities in the region.
In addition, the May 15 state of emergency introduced throughout the Khabarovsk Territory due to forest fires.
