The Russian Ministry of Health has approved a list of medical contraindications for which a citizen or recipient of social services may be deprived of social services. The order, signed by the head of the department, Mikhail Murashko, was published on the official website.legal information portal.
Russian Deputy Minister of Health Alexey Kuznetsov explained that a lot of work has been done in the preparation of the list, as well as numerous meetings with clinicians, specialists and patient associations. As a result, the original draft of the list was greatly revised.
A number of contraindications included tuberculosis of any organ and system with bacterial excretion, leprosy with bacterial excretion, and psychoactive substance abuse syndrome. There were also mental and behavioral disorders with symptoms suggesting a tendency to engage in socially dangerous acts.
In addition, the provision of social services at home, semi-fixed and inpatient may be refused due to the presence of infectious diseases dangerous to others, gangrene and lung necrosis and abscess.
