According to the government agency, therefore, in 2023, an increase in the flow of tourists in this cosmodrome is expected.
“All “civilian” launches (which will be available to tourists): manned, trucks, satellite launches and other vehicles. But at the moment it is better to talk to the tour operator, as there are some difficulties with logistics regarding Baikonur,” he said.
The government agency also stated that this year Roscosmos plans to match last year’s figure in terms of the number of tourists at its spaceports.
Before Roscosmos, carried out 100 accident-free areas are started in a row.
Of these, 46 were carried out from Baikonur Cosmodrome, 36 from Plesetsk, and nine from the Guyana Space Center and Vostochny Cosmodrome. Most of the launches were carried out using the launch vehicles of the Soyuz family.
