Auto dealers from Russia asked the French automotive company to compensate for losses in the amount of 8.5 billion rubles. due to the departure of the brand from the Russian market. According to him, this is the second attempt by the Russian side to negotiate compensation out of court. The amount stated includes the cost of buying / renting buildings for dealerships, restructuring cost according to Renault standards, employee training, credits.

Renault automobile concern left the Russian market in the second half of May 2022. The company’s factory (now Moskvich) was sold to the Moscow government for a symbolic price.
