“The demand for the Big Circle Line, built under the personal supervision of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, shows its importance for the city. With the advent of new convenient routes, more and more Muscovites prefer urban transport. We see that the number of cars on the capital roads has decreased by 15-17 thousand,” he said.

Also, the Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow Transport Government noted that the most popular BCL stations in terms of the number of trips per working day are: Kashirskaya (37.8 thousand flights), Sokolniki (36.6 thousand flights) and ” Textile workers”. (34.5 thousand trips).

Maxim Liksutov stressed that transfers throughout the BCL helped relieve some parts of the Circle Line by up to 23%. He added that the MCC became freer by 16%, in Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya – 12%, and in Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya – 8%.
