I played for Barça Fry. I was doing goalkeeper tests that went very well, and two weeks later I was diagnosed with cancer. It hurts me to say this, but it was so good. I show my skills by competing with Jesulín in ‘El camino a casa’ because he also says he is very good at playing football. Now that I was doing Barça’s Masía series, it was like remembering those times.

How is this series going?
I wrote seven episodes of what Barça Masía is like, but I edited it with the actors. It’s like ‘Polseres verlles’, but in a country house. Now Barça Studios is negotiating a ‘release’.
It blew the guesses. As a child, he was given a 3% chance of survival from cancer and is about to turn 50.
I lost my leg, lung and part of my liver and they didn’t give me much because I had cancer that killed 85% of the kids. It was the same as that of Luis Enrique’s daughter. I was lucky with an alternative treatment they tried on me from San Francisco. I don’t know what they gave me, but I haven’t set foot in the hospital since I was 24.
You predicted your own death for April 23, 2023. You were wrong too.
In the novel ‘The Best Thing to Go Is to Come Back’, which takes place in 2074 and tells about things like Messi’s double-goal win in the World Cup, epidemic and war would break out. I guessed all this! And about artificial intelligence, because those robots that appeared in history are about to come. It occurred to me to kill myself and I chose that date because I really love Sant Jordi even though I didn’t succeed in my death. I think thinking about death gives a lot of life. But now I dare not say another date.
He is very clear that he has three books to write and a series to write. How accurate is it?
I believe in stages. Every six years your life changes. I was now very clear that I wanted to devote myself to presenting the programs in my mind, and for that you have to leave some things behind. In his time, I left the theater to do more television and movies. I have three books left and the idea is many ‘The way home’, but also competitions and ‘late night’. A new phase in my life that I really want is starting, which is getting ahead from behind the cameras.
