Conservative radio host Larry Elder announced its search intent this Thursday. Republican Party nomination to compete in the 2024 presidential election in the United States. Elder made the announcement in an interview with Fox News, detailing his main concern is the lack of father figures in many households in crime and minority communities.

The host ran in an election to take over the California governorship from Democrat Gavin Newsom, whom he lost in 2021. “America is in decline, but this fall is not inevitable,” Elder wrote on Twitter after the presidential candidacy was announced.

To get the nomination, the Conservative will have to face several heavyweights from the Republican Party, including former President Donald Trump (2017-2021), who announced his intention to run for reelection in November. Also part of the race will be former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley, who was ambassador to the UN during the Trump Presidency and was the first major conservative candidate to announce her intention to confront the controversial former president. Other conservative politicians, such as Florida governor Ron DeSantis or Trump’s former vice president Mike Pence, have hinted at their intentions to run for the Republican nomination, though none has stepped up so far.

This Thursday, The Washington Post reported that US President Joe Biden, who has been hinting for months that he will seek reelection in 2024, will announce his candidacy Officially on Tuesday.
