The Japanese authorities may ban the supply of used cars, which are currently one of the main items of export to the Russian Federation, if the G7 decides to almost completely ban the export of goods to Russia. It has been reported Kyodo.

Japan has stopped exporting cars worth more than 6 million yen (about $45,000) to Russia as part of anti-Russian restrictions, according to the agency. If the embargo is extended, other cars, including used ones, may also fall under the embargo. Tires, clothing and cosmetics may also be included in the “forbidden” list.

Earlier, Kyodo, citing a source from the Japanese government, WroteG7 representatives are discussing the possibility of an “almost complete” ban on the export of goods to Russia.
